Join the Maritime Museum’s exclusive chartered 2 hour cruise to see Sydney transformed into a wonderland of light as Vivid Sydney returns.
Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and delicious catering aboard MV Eclipse from Sydney Charter Boats , for the easiest and most stress-free way to see this annual festival of light, sound and ideas from the water.Eclipse offers panoramic views of Sydney Harbour with a crowd free view of Vivid .
This year the Museum's roof comes to life with stunning illumination Cosmic Chase / Floating Realm - the Graphics Worlds of Brian Robinson.
Floating Realm Monumental tentacles, fishermen and soy sauce fish bottles clash in Floating Realm, three irreverent LED sculptures rising from the seas in front of the Museum. Drawing upon motifs of decorated Torres Strait artist Brian Robinson, it's a vibrant, surreal collision of pop-culture with Roman, Greek and Indigenous mythologies.
Cosmic Chase 80s sci-fi, 8-bit video game icons and Indigenous legends meet in Cosmic Chase, an animated adventure projected onto the Museum’s rooftop.
