Discover the powerful legacy of women like Birdie Boyles, Sally Taketa, and California Hall of Fame inductee Joan Didion in Sacramento's Poverty Ridge and Newton Booth historic districts. Join California Museum's Sean Manwaring, author of "Sacramento's Newton Booth & Poverty Ridge," as we uncover how these artists, activists, journalists, and entrepreneurs transformed the Capitol region with their determination and talent.
