Members' Meeting

The November Members' Meeting will be held at our usual venue, Thelwall Parish Hall. This month we are pleased to welcome James Ellson, a writer, smallholder and speaker, whose talk is entitled "A Turkey is just for Christmas - six lessons from a winter smallholding." This talk looks at various jobs and activities on a smallholding; how turkeys are named after the (not so) great & good; winter in the kitchen; the discovery of the Christmas Pippin apple; bees and much more.
We look forward to welcoming any visitors who are interested in finding out more about our u3a. Join us at 10am for a tea or coffee, a biscuit and a chat before the meeting gets underway at 10.30am.
