To celebrate our Golden Jubilee, the Scalefour Society is holding a one-off Members’ Weekend at the Derby Conference Centre. This is organised for the direct benefit of you — the membership — as a free event, so please come along and help support the event. The weekend will be in the form of an enlarged “skills day”, with excess of thirty demonstrations or clinics organised around three main headings, namely Learning Skills; the Repair Shop; and Mutual Improvement. Come along and see finescale modelling, learn new things with our demonstrators, have a go with expert advice or just watch the trains in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. There will also be a small but perfectly formed selection of layouts as well as the Society Stores. There will be plenty to see and learn from regardless of what era you may model. Entrance for non members is £5 but why not join us in our Jubilee year and help celebrate 50 years of the Scalefour Society?
