Join us for a screening of REMAINING NATIVE at 6:00PM followed by a mixer at 7:30PM next door in the 518 space.

If you can’t make it to the screening, you’re still welcome to join us for the free mixer at 7:30pm. Members get a discounted ticket to the screening. You can find the discount code in the latest member newsletter or in the member Discord server.

REMAINING NATIVE is directed by 2023 MediaMaker Fellow Paige Bethmann and produced by Jessica Epstein, BAVC Media’s Director of Strategic Partnerships & Development. REMAINING NATIVE is a coming-of-age documentary told from the perspective of Kutoven (Ku) Stevens, a 17-year-old Native American runner, struggling to navigate his dream of becoming a collegiate athlete as the memory of his great-grandfather’s escape from an Indian boarding school begins to connect past, present, and future.
