Join The Champlain Trio (Leticia Quante, violin; Hiromi Fukuda, piano; Emily Taubl, cello) and performers from the Junior Extension of the Tuesday Morning Music Club for a collaborative concert celebrating Mely Cheng one of the great leaders and advocates for youth music in the Pioneer Valley.This concert will feature the Trio performing music by Mel Bonis and Ludwig van Beethoven, and performances by talented young performers from the TMMC Junior Extension. Then the Trio and the students will host an open rehearsal with music educator and clarinetist Hannah Berube to demonstrate how musicians work together to turn notes on the page into a piece of beautiful music they can perform together.
There will be a catered intermission & reception.
This concert is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be collected.
