Melted con Amor: Valentine/Galentine Candle Making Workshop

Step into a creative space where scent meets intention and discover the art of candle making as you create and hand-pour your own scented candle, blending creativity with intentional self-care.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided through the process of designing and pouring your own custom-scented candle, infused with purpose and intention. From selecting your fragrance blend to choosing an affirmation label for your candle, this experience is rooted in the belief that creating something by hand can be a deeply nourishing act of self-care.

Together, we’ll explore the emotional power of scent and how specific aromas can support relaxation, clarity, joy, or grounding. You’ll learn how to blend fragrance thoughtfully, pairing notes that align with your self-care goals - whether you're seeking calm, energy, or emotional balance.

• Instructor-led class by Michelle Barrionuevo-Mazzini of CASITA MICHI
• ALL materials to craft an 8.5oz scented candle - hand poured by you
• Recycled matte glass tumbler (colors will vary by season)
• Candle Label
• Eco-Luxe Vegan Coconut Wax
• Non-Toxic (phthalate-free) fragrance oils to create your own custom scent
• Ethically-sourced mica, crystals and themed wax melts to decorate your candle (optional)

Once you have made your candle, they will need approximately one hour or more to solidify before they’re ready to take home. As your candle sets, we’ll play a game of Lotería to win some fun prizes. Our Lotería game is optional and if you prefer, you can use this time to grab a bite, mix and mingle or simply take a breather.

Once your candles have solidified, you will leave with some basic candle-making knowledge, a uniquely fun experience and your very own hand poured candle. No experience needed! Just bring your curiosity, your senses, and your intention.

PLEASE NOTE: This event has been designed to be a fun, interactive experience and not as a professional candle-making tutorial to start your own candle business. For safety reasons, the minimun age to participate in this workshop is 10 years old. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to allow you to grab a seat and settle in. Once the class starts we cannot repeat any steps, therefore NO REFUNDS will be provided if you arrive late.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and require you to cancel your attendance. While refunds are not offered, we are happy to accommodate your registration at a future workshop on an alternative date. To be eligible, transfer requests must be made at least three (3) days prior to the scheduled event. Requests made after this timeframe cannot be honored.
