This gathering is simply a chance to 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝑪𝑬 𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆. Bring the hat you’ve already started, come to cast on, or just settle in and stitch with others who share the intention behind this project.
If you’d like, you’re also welcome to help us make 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊 𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒔 that we’ll be selling in-shop to raise funds locally. That part is 𝒕𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒐𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 — no pressure and no expectation.
𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒚 𝑩𝒖𝒇𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒐 will be here stitching with us and bringing her beautiful hand-dyed yarns for purchase throughout the evening. Come for the cause, the community, the yarn, or all three.
This is a relaxed, drop-in style gathering. The event runs from 6:30–9:30 𝑷𝑴, but you can 𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 (𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆) 𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆.
All skill levels are welcome. Bring your hooks, needles, and yarn, or find something in the shop to work with.

The Melt the ICE patterns were released by Minnesota yarn shop Needle & Skein as a craftivism fundraiser. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕-𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒕𝒂, including STEP (St. Louis Park Emergency Program) and the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund.
