Melos Concert: Light in the Dark II - From Europe to Persia, 6th - 19th c.

Melos Choir players and guests perform contemplative music for the darkest season and celebrations of returning light love and hope from a variety of traditions.

From haunting Advent chants traditional Arabic and Hebrew songs of the Levant; Persian love songs for Yalda and joyous Christmas music from

Europe to Armenia by Gibbons Bach & Arakelian you will be uplifted by fresh cross-cultural interpretations of ancient music.

Melos is joined by guests Sadaf Amini Iranian Santur; Vagho Adamyan Duduk; Members of Navaa Ensemble and David Roth Baritone.
