FUNK N’ ROOTS limited RUN!This unique collaboration features Melody Trucks(daughter of Allman Brothers Band legendary drummer Butch Trucks) with her band (The Fitzkee Brothers) alongside Starchild Jr. (son of Starchild/Diaperman of Parliament-Funkadelic and current guitarist/vocalist in P-Funk) & Melody’s brother Vaylor Trucks!!
Together, they pay homage to the powerful legacies left by their fathers while ensuring the music continues to live on. The show will include a mix of original material and classic Allman Brothers Band and P-Funk songs—many taught to them directly by the legends themselves.
They’ll also be passing these musical traditions on to the next generation of players, including The Fitzkee Brothers. Hear firsthand stories about growing up around both iconic bands from Melody, Vaylor, & Garrett, and learn from the Fitzkee Brothers how the next generation is honoring these lessons, enjoy a truly phenomenal evening of music.
