Marina Mello - harp
Vinícius Cajado - double bass
Maurício Takara - drums
Marina Mello, Vinícius Cajado, and Maurício Takara are Brazilian musicians based in Zürich and Berlin. Deeply influenced by their shared cultural roots and distinct musical backgrounds, they come together to create a unique and energetic sound on stage.
Marina is a classically trained musician, while Maurício and Vinícius come from the jazz and experimental scenes. In this fusion of styles, they explore free improvisation to shape their music live, blending strong, chaotic rhythmic passages with detuned harp melodies and restless double bass lines.
Electronics and processed sounds bring moments of surprise—mystical landscapes, noise, and raw intensity—while in other instances, traces of traditional Brazilian rhythms and standard bass lines emerge. The audience is invited on a journey through intensity, authenticity, and sonic exploration.

Miriam Elhajli is a folk singer, improviser, and musicologist based out of Flatbush, Brooklyn. Her work draws upon her Venezuelan and Moroccan heritage, nonsense literatures, traditional farming techniques and her research at The Association for Cultural Equity. The result is explosive and multifaceted, one that moves between delicate ballads, Appalachian country tunes, spoken word, noise, Argentinian zamba, and much more. Elhajli's eclectic style and "haunting voice" (The New York Times) will be on full display at her Lincoln Center debut at the David Rubenstein Atrium.
