About this Event

Whether you’re a creative or just someone wanting to socialise and learn a new skill, Melded Faces welcomes you to join! Melded Faces is a one-off workshop upcycling items that would most likely end up in landfill and instead turning them into unique functional art pieces. During this workshop you will learn the art of decoupage thought to have originated in Eastern Siberia and East Asia. We will be using various magazines including some one-of-a-kind LGBTQ+ and alternative magazines, as well as groovy patterned paper! If you’d like to bring your own items to zhuzh up, you absolutely can, just make sure they have a simpler shape, so you have an easier time upcycling them. The workshop will be on September 5th at 6:30-9pm.
