Following the success of a monster 20th-anniversary tour, which included headline festival performances in Mexico and Indonesia, Melbourne Ska Orchestra return with their signature ‘International Ska’ sound and energy-packed live show. This unstoppable 21-piece behemoth is a turbo-charged freight train of pure dancefloor magic!

Inspired by reggae, rocksteady and ska and bands like The Skatalites, The Seven of Ska draws influences from soul, rock & roll, roots reggae, a touch of jazz, Latin and funk all held together with the grooves of ska. With a lineup of vocals, four horns (trumpet, trombone, tenor & baritone sax) and a rhythm section of guitar, bass and drums, the band's passion for ska and rocksteady music creates an exciting, upbeat sound that gets crowds dancing. Think catchy horn lines, tight rhythms, and infectious grooves.

Chutney is an Aussie klezmer band with a twist. Drawing on their Eastern European and Middle Eastern heritage, they play a spicy mix of original bangers and fresh takes on traditional dance tunes. Comprising clarinet, violin, keyboard, bass, percussion and drums - plus guest singers - the band gleefully hopscotch from folk to pop, jazz to tango, classical to funk, east to west. Bring your dancing shoes and expect to get sweaty!
