We are privileged to have this second edition of the Norla Drone headlined by Dr Sarita McHarg. One of Australia's most respected exponents of traditional and classical Indian music, Dr McHarg's sitar playing has featured in ensembles ranging from psychedlic rock to world music collaborations. This will be an excellent opportunity to experience the majesty of the sitar drone within the hallowed space that is the Norla Dome.
Joining her will be psych-rock mainstays BBQ HAQUE for a rare show, with what they describe as 'an exotic blend of mostly instrumental garage-psych-bruit noise to lift your soul. This will also feature the debut performances of beat-driven dronescaper Ourobonic Plague and Chloe Catastrophe.
