Are you captivated by the glow & grandeur of Melbourne at night? Have you always wanted to take the perfect cityscape shots after dusk?
About this Event

Join digiDirect and Nikon in a hands-on, three-hour workshop that convenes out the front of the Crown Casino Food Court (along Southbank), where you will meet, and from here start using your camera to bring the Melbourne Cityscape to life.

While exploring along Southbank, you will be transfixed by beautiful reflections of the Melbourne skyline on the Yarra River. Our Nikon School Lecturers Sarah Hatton & Josh Beames will teach you how to optimise your camera settings, utilise your wide-angle lens, and develop your compositional eye to capture the cityscape’s signature look, lustre and luminescence.

This workshop will introduce you to techniques such as harnessing ‘available light’, achieving longer exposure, finding unique compositions at night – all of which are necessary in order to create crisp images under a night sky.

Whether you work with a Mirrorless or DSLR camera, this is the ultimate excursion into the specialised world of night-time cityscape photography.

Skill Level: Entry level to Intermediate

Please Note:

A selection of Nikon Z series cameras and NIKKOR Z lenses will be available for trial during the session, along with a Nikon representative to answer your questions
