At our open afternoon, Course Coordinator Dr Vicky Perreau will introduce you to the Master of Science (Bioinformatics) program. You will hear from current students and graduates, Training Lead Dr Emma Gail and our Galaxy Outreach Specialist Dr Tristan Reynolds. You will also have the opportunity to network with Melbourne Bioinformatics staff who teach core subjects in the course.
The Master of Science (Bioinformatics) program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of bioinformatics, a field that turns biological data into actionable insights by combining biology with data science, powering discoveries in health, medicine, and life itself. This interdisciplinary program equips students with the skills necessary to tackle complex biological problems using cutting-edge computational approaches.
