MELBOURNE BELLY DANCE FESTIVAL 2022

A community festival held in Melbourne, celebrating belly dance teachers and students from around Australia and breathing life back into a vibrant and captivating dance community.

This festival is an all inclusive event where all belly dance and fusion styles are welcome, as well as all levels and experience.

The festival will include:

Friday 9 September 2022: "One Night in Cairo" Show Cocktail Event

Enjoy some nibbles and drinks, while witnessing the talents of our beautiful belly dancers.

Held at The Duke of Edinburgh Hotel (upstairs function room)

All day workshops held at Moss Studios (upstairs studio)

Saturday 10 September 2022: "An Evening in Istanbul" dinner and show

A night to chill, chat, and enjoy a delicious Turkish banquet, while being entertained by a Turkish musicians, performances by our Master teachers, and belly dance show by the resident dancer Mya.

Held at Zara Turkish Restaurant

Dinner at 7.00pm (no door tickets available, pre-purchase only).

Sunday 11 September 2022:

All day workshops and market with informal performances, both held at Moss Studios (workshops upstairs, market downstairs)

101 Evans Street, Brunswick East 3057.

Market entry: Donation entry at the door, all proceeds will be donated to Beyond Blue (no need to pre-book, just show up!).

Performers: Performers are to purchase a Performance Only ticket.

This ticket is to secure one performance spot. Regardless of if you are a solo act or a performance group, only ONE ticket is required. If you are a group, the leader of the group should purchase this ticket.
