Melbourne Alumni | After hours at ACMI
About this Event
UNSW alumni in Melbourne are invited to a rare out-of-hours experience at ACMI. Featuring a tour from Seb Chan, Director and CEO of ACMI, a fellow UNSW alumnus and recipient of the 2024 UNSW Alumni Award for Arts and Culture.
This intimate event gives alumni the opportunity to experience ACMI beyond its usual opening hours from a director-led perspective. Guests will be taken through , ACMI’s current exhibition from The Vinyl Factory, which explores the power of music across art, film and social movements.
From immersive audio environments to large-scale moving image works and interactive installations, Reverb offers a compelling look at how sound shapes culture, memory, identity and public life.
The evening will include a guided tour with reflections from Seb, followed by food and drinks at the nearby Public Bar at Transport.
