Free surf lesson for members of the indigenous community. We will be teaching surfing fundamentals in a safe and supportive environment.
About this Event

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This session is for our Indigenous community that are 6+ years old.

PAY WHAT YOU CAN

These surf sessions are possible thanks to the support of and other small donations from our community.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Whether this is your first time surfing or you already have surfing experience, this is a perfect opportunity for you to learn or improve the fundamentals of a pop-up, surf-etiquette, paddling and board management in a fun, friendly, supportive, and safe environment.

What to bring?

  • Bring bathing suit on, a towel, dry clothes, water, sunscreen and snacks. Anything you would bring to a beach day.

What does Palmar Collective Provide?

  • Board and wetsuits!


LOCATION:

All our lessons take place in the portland surrounding areas. Our top priority is being able to feel safe in and out of the water and becuase of this, the exact location of the surf lesson will be emailed to you two days before the clinic.
