Melanin Silent Reading Club

The Melanin Silent Reading Club is an east end book club for Black women. We meet the second Saturday of every month from 4 PM - 7 PM.
About this Event

We're headed to the Book Bar on Saturday, August 1st from 11 AM - 4 PM.

There will be some time for us to catch up, meet some new bookish friends, order some food and read.

You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the event.

The Melanin Silent Reading Club is a book club that meets the second Saturday of every month in Durham Region from 4 PM - 7 PM otherwise stated.

We also meet the fourth Saturday of every month on ZOOM for a reading sprint from 9 AM - 10:30 AM.

This book club is for Black women only.

You will get a chance to meet other book lovers like yourself, enjoy a meal, add a ton of books to your never ending book list and maybe get some uninterrupted reading time.
