Lajos Meinberg grew up in a family of musicians, which nurtured his love for jazz from an early age. Since 2020, he has been studying at the Jazz Institute Berlin under Wolfgang Köhler, Tino Dorado, and Bastian Stein, and has been actively involved in the Berlin jazz scene since then. He has had the opportunity to perform with musicians such as Rodney Green, Doug Weiss, Matt Wilson and Martin Wind. Lajos received the Ingolf Burkhardt Award in 2022 and won first prize at the International Jazzhaus Piano Competition in Freiburg in 2024, as well as second prize at the International Jazz Piano Competition Lausanne in 2025. In August 2023, Lajos was part of the Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy, where he had the chance to learn from musicians like Anat Cohen, Donny McCaslin, and Sullivan Fortner.
Johann Greve is a double bassist and composer from Lower Saxony. Since moving to Berlin in 2019, he has worked as a sideman on a wide variety of projects and established himself in the young Berlin jazz scene. He has performed with Percy Pursglove, Julius Gawlik, Charlotte Greve and Olga Reznichenko, among others. In March 2024, he recorded material for his debut album with his quartet.
California-born drummer Genius Wesley is an emerging force on the international jazz scene, known for his electrifying energy, deep musicality, and fearless improvisation. A prodigy percussionist, he has already performed with jazz greats such as David Binney, Sean Jones, Buster Williams, Azar Lawrence, Gerald Clayton, and many more.
