Hackney Art Week
Join Mei-Hui Liu for Mei-Hui’s Tea Party, a playful Hackney Art Week gathering of upcycled fashion, art, tea, cake, music and performance.
Guests are invited to experience Mei’s world through a special dressing-up session using her upcycled fashion archive, alongside a tea ceremony, cakes and creative conversation in East London.
Across two days, the event offers a warm, intimate space to dress, connect, explore and celebrate fashion as art, memory and self-expression.
On Tuesday 9 June, the Tea Party continues into a special evening programme with music, live performance, drag artist Visa Reason and guest performers.
