TOURPLAY:
For 2026, we will be using Tourplay to run the tournament. Tourplay is a great system that allows you to select and input your roster online. It eliminates the chance of creating illegal rosters, and it allows coaches to quickly view each other's players, stats and skills during the game. You’ll also be tracking all of your touchdowns and casualties through Tourplay, making it nice and simple to ensure you’re submitting the correct result. It will require to you to create an account, which you can do at tourplay.net. Please ensure your NAF account (see later) is linked to your tourplay account. As this is an in browser app we would advise trying to ensure you keep your device charged.
ROSTER DEADLINE:
The Tourplay event will open for registration on Sunday, the 12th of July. We appreciate that sometimes you need those final few weeks to trial and tweak your rosters. The deadline for submitting your rosters will be Sunday, the 2nd of August. There will be penalties applied for any coach that fails to meet the deadline.
NAF MEMBERSHIP:
If you are new to the scene and have not yet registered with the NAF then the fee will be covered by the event entry fee. All you need to do is provide a contact email address and your chosen username to Ant Purdie prior to the event. Your account will be set up before dice are rolled and instructions will be provided on how to link tourplay with your NAF account.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded for the following:
• Tournament Champion (most points)
• 2nd Place
• 3rd Place
• Wooden spoon
• Players’ Choice (Decided by the players. Winner must have painted the team they are using)
• Most TDs
• Most CAS
It is our hope that our sponsors will provide a variety of prizes and these will be given out to those players that finish well. So, you best finish well then yeah!?
Ticket Sales
Tickets are £20 per player and this covers entry fee, 3 games and lunch on the day. Ticket purchase is made via PAYPAL friends and family to [email protected] (@apurdie585).
The following information is worth noting though re cancellations etc.
Tickets can be transferred between players and monies exchanged between those parties.
Should a player cancel their ticket on or after Sunday 12th July 2026 then no refund will be given
THE MEGATRON CUP
The Megatron 3000 Bolt Action event comprises 50% of the competition known as the MEGATRON CUP that is being held over the weekend of the 8th and 9h of August 2026 at Common Ground Games, the other event is the Megatron Megabowl Blood Bowl event. Players can play in one or the other and just ignore this bit……………OR…………..if you feel up for the challenge you can take part in both and maybe just maybe get your hands on the MEGATRON CUP!
How does it work?
Only players that purchase and play in both events on both days can score what are known as Megatron Mega Points. These points are assigned at the end of each event and are based upon where you finish compared to our MEGATRONERS (that is to say other players that are taking part in both days). Eg if there are 12 MEGATRONERS then the player that finishes highest will get 12pts, then the next player gets 11pts and so on. In the event of a tie then each players W/D/L record will be taken into account. Whomever has the most MEGAPOINTS at the end of both events will win the MEGATRON CUP.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.
