Mega Voluntary Blood Donation Camp to observe World Blood Donor Day

14th June has been declared as "WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY”, by the United Nations, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr Carl Landsteiner, the founder of ABO Blood Group.
In 2020, 2022, 2023 & 2024, we organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 14th June at the historic Brigade Parade Ground, beside Gate No 1 of Maidan Metro Station, in the north-west corner of Eliot Park.
Since last year (2025), we have shifted the Blood Donation Camp at SHAHEED MINAR MAIDAN, Dharmatala, Kolkata (in front of Shaheed Minar). Last year on 14th June, 2025 in the said camp 250 people voluntarily donated blood. This year too, we have organized the camp on 14th June, 2026, Sunday from 10.00 am to 04.00 pm.
