MEETING ART 🌍The short guided tours in English on the most representative works in the collections of the #PinacotecaNazionalediBologna
The meeting of December offers a new artistic itinerary about Bolognese art between the17th and 18th century. We will discover two paintings of Sybils, one by #GuidoReni and the other by #Guercino, exemples of ideal female beauty in a recurring subject of the time. We will be surprised by the realistic and popular interpretation of a mithological episode, Latona changing the Lycian peasants into frogs by #GiuseppeMariaCrespi. Finally a focus on the Allegorical tomb by #DonatoCreti from the series of paintings in honour to illustrious English personalities.
