Starting school is a big milestone — for both children and parents.
These small, carefully structured sessions are designed to gently support that transition, helping your child build confidence, recognise familiar faces and take their first steps into school life in a calm, nurturing environment.

✨ Familiar faces before the first day: children have the opportunity to meet others starting the same school, helping school feel that little bit more comfortable and familiar.
✨ Confidence through play: through engaging role play and gentle group activities, your child can get to know new class mates in a way that feels natural, safe and enjoyable.
✨ Support for parents too: these sessions are just as valuable for you — giving you the chance to meet other parents, start conversations, and feel more connected ahead of September.
✨ Led by an experienced primary teacher: with Laura's background in teaching, every element is thoughtfully planned to support both emotional wellbeing and school readiness — without pressure or overwhelm.
✨️ As part of your transition booking, you’ll also receive access to our School Starters Support Hub.
🏡 What to expect during your session 🏡
- Time to explore our multi-award-winning role play village at their own pace.
- Gentle ice-breaker activities to encourage interaction and connection.
-A short story and group activity to build confidence in a supportive setting.
- Plenty of opportunities for both children and parents to connect naturally.
🌿 A calm, intentionally small group 🌿
Sessions are limited to just 16 - 18 children to ensure:
- A relaxed, unhurried atmosphere
- Space for meaningful interaction
- Children feel comfortable, not overwhelmed

To help your child walk into their first day of school feeling:
