Adults on the autism spectrum and their guests can explore art and participate in hands-on activities at the Carter. This event is a sensory-friendly social event designed especially for individuals with autism but is fun for all guests.
Let's enjoy nature in art! Participants can explore artworks in the galleries, play games, get creative during a hands-on, art-making experience, and more! Adults on the autism spectrum and their guests are invited to join this drop-in event. While the needs of individuals with autism are the focus of this event, it is also fun for family and/or friends.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.
In partnership with EPIC (Empowering Personal Interactions in the Community) of the University of North Texas.
