Meet The Winemaker Supper Club with Romain Decelle from Domaine de Boisseyt

This March, we’re welcoming Romain Decelle from Domaine de Boisseyt for our next Meet the Winemaker Dinner. Taking to the spotlight at our Humble Grape wine bar, Romain has travelled from Southern France to treat us to an exciting evening celebrating his family’s wine.

Since 1797, 6 generations of winegrowers have succeeded one another on this property. But it is as early as the 14th century that the place is mentioned in writings, making Domaine De Boisseyt the oldest vineyards in the village of Chavanay.

After 30 years of working on the most emblematic terroirs of the Northern Rhône, Didier and Agnes Chol decided to retire after their children did not want to take over the winery. They chose to sell to winemaking partners Olivier Decelle and Pierre-Jean Villa in 2017, knowing that the vineyard would be in safe hands.

Romaine, son of Olivier Decelle, will be your guide throughout the three-hour session, so you can sip, swirl, and savour each drop of his family wine as he unveils the hidden stories and secret techniques behind each bottle.

Our wines will be paired perfectly with six dishes from our talented Executive Chef.
