Meet The Winemaker Supper Club with Gregor Schup

We're excited to shine a spotlight on one of the most underestimated wine regions, its independent wine mavericks, and wines that punch way above their price tag - welcome to Austria. The majority of producers are small, family-owned estates, positioning Austria as the opposite of industrial-scale wine production.

This April, we're welcoming one of these family-run vineyards as Gregor Schup joins us for our first Winemaker Dinner of 2026. Taking centre stage at Humble Grape Bow Lane, Gregor has travelled from Austria to host an evening celebrating his esteemed wines.

For over 300 years, the Schups have been perfecting their wines on the same mountain - meaning this Austrian family has been at it since long before your great-gran was born. Deep in the heart of the Austrian Wienerwald, in the little town of Guntramsdorf, you'll now find the fifth generation running the family business.

After a welcome drink, the winemaker will guide you through the 3-hour session, so you can sip, swirl, and savour each drop as we unveil the hidden stories and secret techniques behind six iconic bottles.

Each wine will be perfectly paired with dishes from Austria, crafted by our talented Executive Chef.
