Meet the San Francisco Mayoral Candidate Dylan Hirsch-Shell

Dylan Hirsch-Shell is a graduate-trained neuroscientist and an early engineer at Tesla who left his role at the company after more than 12 years to run for Mayor of San Francisco.

With his scientific training and years of experience as an engineer developing cutting-edge electric vehicle technologies, Dylan is uniquely qualified among the mayoral candidates to dissect and diagnose the complex issues facing San Francisco.

His platform is a comprehensive and holistic approach that balances pragmatism with compassion and addresses immediate problems while also tackling the systemic issues that we need to solve in order to achieve lasting change–otherwise, we will continue to face the cycles of poverty, trauma, and hopelessness producing the next generation of individuals slipping into drug addiction, criminal gangs, and homelessness.
