About this Event
Join Frank Orrell, former photographer for the Wigan Evening Post, Wigan Observer, the Reporter group, and Rugby League newspaper, for this fascinating illustrated event as he talks about his time spent photographing rugby league.
The talk will be accompanied by a slideshow of photographs of Wigan Rugby League Club from the 1960s up to 2009, as well as local amateur and grassroots rugby.
We are delighted to welcome Frank to the museum as part of the programme of events for our new FREE rugby league exhibition 'gerrumonside! the passion of rugby league past present and future'.
Frank's talk takes place when our new exhibition is open, so come early or stay later to look round the fantastic displays.
Museum opening times are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm.
