About this Event

Join us at our bi-annual face-to-face networking event on Tuesday 7th May from 6.00pm , kindly hosted once again by Savills at their global UK headquarters, 33 Margret Street, London.

If you have ever thought about getting yourself a mentor or perhaps you have a lot to offer someone finding their way in food and farming this is the event for you.

Two of our favourite mentoring programmes have come together for this event to make sure there is something for everyone. They will talk about how you might make a start on your journey, supercharge it if you are already heading in the right direction and what you can expect from both sides of the experience.

For the farmers:

Helen Wyman, deeply involved in UK agriculture, founded Cultivate Success after being inspired by her experiences as a Nuffield Farming Scholar in 2022. Her project, which explored the significant impact of mentorship on agricultural innovation and sustainability, catalysed the establishment of this initiative. Cultivate Success focuses on strategic mentorship and fostering collaborations within the food, farming and supply chain to address contemporary challenges and unlock new opportunities. With a background in farm business management and environmental sustainability, Wyman's efforts are aimed at driving growth and innovation in the sector, leveraging her insights gained from the Nuffield scholarship and her passion for the agricultural community.

For the foodies:

Flourish in food offers a unique personal pairing programme for people in the food industry. Run run by a small group of volunteers who all have worked in the industry, and who want to drive change and make a difference by helping others. Flourish in Food started out in 2020, as a lockdown project, aiming to give support to students wanting to progress in the food industry through linking them up with specialist mentors.

Since then, we have opened our services to anyone in the industry looking for personal growth and development and have created over 250 food industry pairings.
