LARP SUMMARY
In 1968, the Jealyfish are a hot new band taking England by storm. With internal tensions brewing and a gig at the upcoming Peace Concert to honor a delegation from the Soviet Union, it will take more than rock 'n' roll to make them stars.
Sex, drugs, and a red scare are set to collide at the afterparty following their last show. Will the Jealyfish's music usher in an era of peace and love, or will the drums of the Cold War drown out the beat?
Meet the Jealyfish is a live-action role-play (LARP) brimming with mystery and intrigue for 7 to 12 players. No prior experience or preparation is required (unless, of course, you'd like to come in your 60s best!).
CONTENT NOTE
This LARP includes in-game sex (represented with a mechanic), violence, drug use, and M**der. Were it a movie, it would be rated R.
EVENING OVERVIEW
The event will begin at 7 pm with final preparation and an overview of LARP etiquette, focusing on comfort and consent during play. Following this orientation, we'll all get into character, and the afterparty will begin!
We welcome you to arrive at 6:30 to settle in and order food and drink before the orientation begins (though our kitchen and bar will also be open throughout the evening).
CASTING SURVEYS
Please complete your Casting Survey as soon as you can after receiving it! The early-bird casting deadline is Friday, September 13th, and the general deadline is Monday, Septemer16th. (Tickets purchased after the 16th will be cast prior to the event from the remaining roles.)
