Program dedicated to Greek films and greek-related filmmakers that were selected through Free the kitsch Athens Film Fest Open call. After the screening there will be a q&a with the filmmakers.
Entrance if free. All films will be screened with English subtitles.

My house is under occupation. An army of tiny porcelain figurines is everywhere. I never chose to have them, just -inevitably- inherited them. And they are many and heavy and quite useless. Almost like aliens to me. These objects become the protagonists of this work which is an act of reconciliation and an attempt to turn the thick ancestral darkness -to the extent that i can- into light.

This project is an Instagram self-portrait. A conscious self-exposure of a young girl trying to get into contexts of its time, copying the kinesiology of trends, projecting her femininity and showing off at her painting skills. In the end she can become a famous artist or and plainly known.
