Meet the Cabinet Office SCS Co-Champions for languages

This event is for Cabinet Office staff who are members of the Civil Service Languages Network - please use your CO email address to sign up

We would like to introduce ourselves as the Cabinet Office SCS Co-Champions for languages. This is a new role and champions have been appointed in Departments across the Government in recent months.

We're both passionate about languages, the role they play in making the Civil Service more effective, and also the wider benefits that come from speaking more than one language. Please join us in a discussion about your experience of languages so we can better understand why they are important to you as Cabinet Office staff.

Do you use them in your roles? Do you have suggestions for how to improve language-related issues in the Department? What benefits, both direct and indirect are there for the Cabinet Office from staff language skills or could there be in the future?

Please note in person tickets are limited due to room size, but online tickets are unlimited. We will also be using a waitlist if anyone drops out of the in-person event.
