The development of Golden Valley in Cheltenham has gathered real momentum. What began as an ambitious vision is now becoming one of the UK's most significant regeneration and innovation projects.

Delivered by HBD, part of Henry Boot, in partnership with Cheltenham Borough Council, the £1 billion development is a cornerstone of the UK's cyber strategy, creating a nationally significant destination for cyber, AI and quantum technologies.

Located alongside GCHQ, Golden Valley will bring together global businesses, innovative start-ups, academia and government in a world-class innovation district. Alongside cutting-edge workspace, the development will deliver thousands of new jobs, homes, green spaces, sports facilities, a new school, hospitality venues and community amenities, while creating long-term opportunities through new skills and apprenticeship programmes.

As construction moves into its first phase with Tier 1 contractor Bowmer + Kirkland, Together Gloucestershire is delighted to launch the Golden Valley – Meet the Buyer programme.

The first event: Tuesday 22 July 10:00am – 4:00pm Hub8 MX, Cheltenham

Hosted by HBD and Bowmer + Kirkland, and co-hosted with CYNAM and Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce, this event is designed to connect Gloucestershire businesses with the organisations shaping one of the county's most important developments.

The day will initially focus on construction and supply chain opportunities, but it will also explore the wider commercial opportunities that Golden Valley will create over the coming years. As the development progresses, new supply chains will emerge across facilities management, professional services, technology, digital innovation and business support, creating opportunities for businesses of every size.

Our ambition is simple: to help retain as much procurement and investment within Gloucestershire as possible by connecting local businesses with major buyers from the very beginning.
