We are excited to put "Oliver" on the red carpet as he is the star in the new book, I Married a Donkey. This book is co-written by Jeanne Burth and her granddaughter, Olivia Barnhart. It was available on Amazon for pre-sale, as the book will officially release on July 26 or order directly from the publisher at www.pegasuspublishers.com.
This book tells of the fondness a young girl has for her donkey friend, Oliver. Thanks to Lone Pines Acres and Jessica Scott for letting Olivia befriend her donkey, Oliver. We will be doing a reading/signing at the barn. Stay tuned!
This book will always be special to me. I was visiting in PA just after my first 2 children's books were released. And Olivia started my visit by presenting me with some very rough blank books that she made (age 6 at the time) and said, "Nini, I want you to help me to write 2 books while you're here this weekend, so I can be an author just like you."

SO it support our Olivia, who is a joy to have on the farm, we are hosting a "Meet the Author" on Sunday, February 23, 2025 @1:00pm. Books will be available to purchase and my be signed by both authors and maybe Oliver, himself.
