Fun, adventure, and travel await! Families and kids are invited to meet four of Arizona's authors as they present their amazing children's books surrounded by the artwork of the new Wanderlust exhibit at the Arts HQ Gallery in Surprise, AZ.

Featured authors: Barchelle (Chelly) Bolger Wathen and her dog Shayla will share Shayla's adventures along with Caren Cantrell's mermaid and cowboy stories. Author Genein Letford and her co-author son will help us explore the limitless possibilities of our brains, and author and illustrator Michael Hale will introduce you to his southwest animal stories and do a fun demonstration of illustrating his books. Enjoy the live readings and presentations of their books, book signing, and a free kids craft.
FREE admission and open to the public, the event will run 10am-12noon.
The Arts HQ Gallery is located at 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza, Ste 102 in Surprise, AZ just north of the Surprise City Hall.
