Join Houston authors for an afternoon of conversation, community, and creativity! Enjoy snacks, book signings, and a lively author talk featuring newly released works from local writers.

✨ Kathi Crawford's debut chapbook , an evocative hybrid poetry and creative nonfiction collection, was selected as “best entry” in Finishing Line Press’s 2024 Open Competition. consider the light explores themes of identity, belonging, and transformation.

✨ Randall James Tyrone’s debut collection is a searing exploration of contemporary existence intertwined with medieval notions of damnation, invoking Dante’s “Inferno”. Doubling as a novel-in-verse, City of Dis stands as a vivid critique of society and haunting testament to resilience in the face of decay.

✨ Chris Flakus' Flight of the Chicxulub thrusts readers into the smog-choked skies of Xochipili, a Pr*son planet built on the bones of exile and revolution. Blending raw poetic prose with Aztec symbolism and the industrial grit of cyberpunk, Flakus crafts a visionary tale where love, loss, and rebellion collide.
