Join us on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to hear the latest work of author Katłįà (Catherine) Lafferty, a northern Dene/Cree/Metis novelist from the Northwest Territories. This event will start at 5pm on Sept 30, and will feature a reading from Katłįà's latest book. This book will be available for purchase at the event. Light refreshments will be served. Katłįà (Catherine) Lafferty is the Chairperson for the Keeper of the Circle National Indigenous Women’s Housing Initiative. Katłįà currently resides on the unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples in lək̓ʷəŋən territory where she is in her third year of the Juris Doctor Common Law and Indigenous Legal Orders at the University of Victoria.
