Join us on Thursday, September 30 at 9 am to hear from Amazon Bestseller Author, Dr. Rosenna Bakari!Dr. Bakari earned her doctorate degree from UNC in educational psychology from the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. As the author of six books related to emotional resilience, Bakari is delighted to be back in Colorado to discuss what it means to shift psychology from a focus on mental illness to mental wellness. She is using her most recent book, The Healing Journey: Relationships and Wellness Guide, to break down barriers to wellness resources and normalize healing over hiding pain.
All students, faculty, staff and members of the UNC community are invited and welcome to the discussion. Masks are required to be worn during this event.
