Come meet Maria Holme, the artist behind "Peace of Chaos" exhibit in the Cafe Gallery here at Narrows Center for the Arts. Maria will be talking about the how and why she created the quilling and collage pieces on display, and their significant meaning.Quilling, the art of paper filagree, was a way for Maria to help quiet the inner chaos, and to divert and organize anxious thoughts. Maria will be showing the technique and encouraging us to try it ourselves, to see first-hand how art can quiet the mind.Maria will also be talking about her upcoming October workshop at the Narrows "Beyond the Vision Board."
