Meet Kirstin O'Malley on Saturday, October 31st, 12-3pm
Originally from the mountains of Boulder, Colorado, Kirstin now calls Wilmington, North Carolina home. Her work is a reflection of her love for nature as well as human beings.
She finds purpose and meaning in creating useful objects that look as if they are the result of natural forces, inviting light to play on the surface and cast a pleasing shadow.
When she’s working on a functional piece, she likes to think of someone drinking from the cup she’s made, or sharing a specially prepared dish in one of her bowls. Her sculptural pieces are intended to be a feast for the eyes and the soul, and her figurative works are often a commentary on the human condition.
Join us to meet Kirstin, learn about her creative process, and experience her inspiring collection of work.
Light refreshments will be served. 🥂
