Set over the 12 days of Christmas, Tess Woods’ latest, mouth-watering novel is perfect for fans of Nine Perfect Strangers and The White Lotus.

It follows 4 very different women – a glamourous hotelier, a food writer, a God-fearing, all-American grandma, and a young woman who is sinking like the city she’s returned home to – each with their own secrets. They converge upon Venice’s boutique Hotel II Cuore and their lives collide. But not everyone who checked into the hotel will check out.

Between Christmas and the Epiphany in 2017/18 Tess based herself in San Marco where the story is set: walking down hidden lanes, eating handcrafted food made from recipes passed down the generations, experiencing the vibrant marketplace.
