Inflation (ongoing affordability crisis) is causing thousands of Canadian businesses (particularly restaurants) to struggle and/or close their doors. Venue owners prefer bookings where he/she can profit from them. Because of this, we don't book this date with venue staff unless enough tickets sell by sales ending date. When we make & confirm a booking, we'll compensate applicable venue owners on event day.

Please do NOT bring canned goods or other food items to any of our events. We will reject the items, & we will not transfer any of those items to any food bank.

Travel with your best friend to people you wish to meet. We may permit him/her to be close to the event area as your support person if space permits.

Sometimes taking things slow is best. We give all participants options (on their match cards) to like their potential matches as friends only or more.

Choose a public place with other people nearby. If things go awkward fast, then odds of you receiving emergency assistance is much higher. All our speed dating events are held in public places.

People you meet for the first time are considered strangers until you have chatted with them for a while. Not taking this tip seriously may cause you to enter unknown territory & possibly be kidnapped.

Its similar to entering his/her vehicle except that you could be trapped in his/her home without an exit.

We recommend letting trustworthy people (example: family) know directions to the potential match's location. Share a safe word with trustworthy people & contact them using a mobile phone in case of emergency.

Get to know your potential partner well, then when you are both comfortable, exchange contact information. Exchanging temporary email addresses is safer than swapping phone numbers because if the person harasses you by email, then use a new email address.

Does your potential partner showcase an uncomforting tone or appearance? Does it not align with your values? It's best to tell him/her you must go then escape calmly to avoid a potential messy situation.

We conduct attendance checks before 1st Speed Dating round begins. Everyone's ages are validated as required. By buying Speed Dating tickets, you'll accept full liability for your children, plus every damage, loss, & injury you cause during your participation. Venue owner(s) permit us to setup dates, rent indoor area(s) & furniture. Server may at his/her discretion refuse to provide alcohol service to those not providing proof of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly. There's NO promise that a preferred menu item is in-stock. We can't guarantee any two singles will become couples upon conclusion of any Speed Dating round. Anybody displaying extreme intoxication signs, violence, or nudity towards others, or arriving 15+ minutes late must exit the Speed Dating area immediately. No Speed Dating round occurs & refunds become available if insufficient people register by sales closing time, or if venue owner(s) revokes our permission to plan and/or execute an event for this date. While we allow LGBTQ, queers, transgenders, non-binary, adults under special categories, & other singles to join any Speed Dating round, registrants must indicate their current genders (male or female).
