Find out how you can engage with a range of activities open to writers, artists, fans, and other creatives in Prince George associated with Reality Skimming Press. We'll pitch the existing opportunities, run breakout groups to develop ideas, and schedule appointments for further discussion with interested creatives. Reality Skimming Press depends on the talents of half a dozen people to continue expanding the reach of the Okal Rel Universe via multiple media and modes. It also maintains an active blog featuring articles by contributors and plans to publish at least 1 non-ORU work of SF in 2026. RelSkim Writers is a local writers group for serious writers of all kinds, sponsored by Reality Skimming Press, that meets twice a month to read works-in-progress aloud to each other, and plan occasional events. A short introduction to your options will be followed by breakout groups where you can sample the RelSkim Writers experience, or develop ideas / roles related to the 2026 goals for Reality Skimming Press. "Bring a five-minute reading of something of your own work if you wish to participate in the RelSkim Writer's break-out.
