Join us in welcoming Sam Lynch, the Library's first-ever Sound Artist in Residence, to learn what led her to a career in music, insights into her current artistic process, and the role of collaboration in her creative practice.Sam Lynch is an award-winning singer-songwriter, musician, and producer who won the 2022 Western Canadian Music Award for "Songwriter of the Year," firmly establishing her as a leading voice in Vancouver's contemporary music scene.
Over the next three months, she will provide enriching new programs to patrons and help foster our Recording Studio community.
This residency is possible thanks to a generous bequest from the estate of Robert Leslie Welsh to the West Vancouver Memorial Library Foundation in support of music at the Library.
