About this Event
Meet Me @HistoryLink: Zine Making Workshop
Design, create, and fold a zine at HistoryLink headquarters, incorporating stories from Washington state's history and adding your own spin.
What's a zine?
Zines are homemade publications usually created for creative self-expression rather than profit. In this workshop, you will use stories from Washington state history to design, create, duplicate, and fold your own mini-zine from a single sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper.
What should I bring?
HistoryLink will provide pre-printed articles and images (click to explore) to incorporate into your zine, but feel free to explore HistoryLink.org ahead of time to choose your own topic! Make a zine about a historic building (click to explore), a Washington town (click to explore), a true crime story (click to explore), or anything that piques your interest.
