Meet Internal Audit - a Panel Discussion

Did you know there is a profession that enables you to be a risk manager, detective, investigative reporter, accountant, and so much more, every day that you go to work?

Meet internal audit!

Internal Auditors assess risk within an organization and report their findings to senior management. They also work with operations to mitigate risks and correct known issues. No two days are the same in this dynamic profession; however, regardless of the industry or specific project, there are professional standards to follow. If you are curious and like project-based work, this may be a career to consider.

In this session, volunteers from the Institute of Internal Auditors Florida West Coast Chapter will discuss:

• Internal audit goals and objectives
• Compare internal and external audit
• Career entry points and designations
• Introduce participants to the global organization and our local chapter
• Meet a panel of professionals working in a variety of settings including government, healthcare, banking, etc.
