Drop into our FREE open studios for adults and create your own artwork inspired by Art in Bloom! No art experience necessary; all materials provided.April 25 - Bloom with Print!, 5:30-8:30pm
Roll ink onto wood and metal type and make a letterpress print with Minnesota Center for Book Arts! Check out contemporary and time-tested methods of letterpress printing while printing floral-inspired designs with artists Laura Brown, Bethany Rahn, and more. Take home three unique prints and inspiration to get creative with print. Explore prints in Mia’s collection in the Herschel V. Jones Print Study Room, open from 5-8pm.
April 27 - Still Life in Bloom, 12-4pm
Join artist Lindsey Cherek Waller in a still life workshop celebrating Art in Bloom. Cherek Waller’s work centers pleasure and joy, and imagines the community-focused world they hope to live in. Floral centerpieces generously provided by Bachman’s.
